Pottery Barn - Chair Review from Trenton, Michigan
Last March I purchased a beanbag chair ( not the regular beanbag a chair that is made out of beanbag consistency formed into a regular chair with a back , arms like a regular upholstered chair, etc. from Pottery Barn for my grandson's birthday.
In less than s year the back has collapsed and the chair is a piece of junk. Whst s disappointment. If my grandson was a rough house type of child or a big boy I might understand but he is not by any means. The chair was not cheap I believe I paid around $$150 if not more including personalization and shipping.
I called Pottery Barn to report the default in this chair and to see what they would go or say. I had also noticed that this chair is no longer being offered for purchase making me feel like I was not the only one this had happened yoo, possibly. I never received sny type of apology from sny of the customer service reps and I was told that if I would like to purchase an anywhere chair I would get 15% offed that purchase. I was not happy with that offer and said so but they stuck to that great compensation offer.
So I said no thank you and hung up.
Am I wrong in how I felt about how the whole situation was handled. A anywhere chairs csn run anywhere ftom $99-$149 I believe.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Location: Trenton, Michigan
