BEWARE OF POTTERY BARN DELIVERY PEOPLE

We bought furniture at Pottery Barn and they damaged my proprierty when delivering a 7.000 worth of furniture. I contacted PB by email and phone the same day, they asked me to send pictures and describe the fact in an email. So far so good. but I JUST received A LETTER FROM INSURANCE COMPANY saying a 3rd party was responsible and they would "pass" the case to them. PB NEVER CALLED ME, I never got an email with the response. BEWARE OF THIS. Pushing around a customer does not seem to be a problem to PB. PB has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I EVER experienced!

Pb contracts furniture delivery always to a third party. The delivery companies never work directly for the company.

Unfortunity it's between you and the delivery company. Many customers arrange their own delivery service.

Incarta in Canada is the BEST. Good Luck

Pottery Barn RIDIC Service DONT BOTHER

We had a registry with them, they shipped to an old address that I had since updated. Then kept shipping replacement items then finally merch cards (once call tags got too expensive) to that address. Two months after my wedding I finally got merch cards in the mail after probably 15 calls, all snotty, unintelligent folk that delight on 10 min holds. UNBELIEVABLE! I will NEVER order from Pottery Barn or West ELm again. Do not register here, what an unbelievable pain in the ***. They also tried to tell me I could only use merch card and registry completion discount on PB items only (not true, work for all the companies they own). They have nice stuff, worth it if you are dealing with in store purchases and returns but don't bother ordering online or on phone. They are not cool enough to be ***.

Most special order furniture is not returnable. It is the job of the consumer to research what will & will not work in their space.

As for the media center, you are wrong; whenever something is delivered damaged it is always replaced ASAP.

Finally, (2) pieces do not equal a $20k expenditure so you are prone to exaggeration. Customer service received is not based on how much is spent.....one usually gets the best service when they are the most polite.

Yes, as stated earlier, if you can leave a complaint here couldn't you have found the number via potterybarn.com, and you really needed a credit in 24 hours...if you can afford to shop at pottery barn, you can't be on your last dollar.
