Pottery Barn contacted me and asked how I’d like to rectify the situation. Pottery Barn picked up the infested table, set up and replaced it with a brand new one. Excellent customer service!

Our $2500 Pottery Barn Lorraine Dining Table has been infested with burrowing bugs since they set it up.

Attached is 3 pictures showing how 1) proud we were of our formal table 2) the wood dust the burrowing bugs leave behind on a weekly basis 3) a pic of the underneath of our table where the bugs entered from design holes but have kept burrowing into our table deeper. Majorly disappointed.

Pottery Barn Customer Service was very professional and handled the matter within days, replacing defective table, and including delivery, taking away defective table and setting up the new one.


Oh I feel so sorry for you guys. How depressing to get nice furniture with a bug infestation. You would think the wood would have been treated before the assembly process.
