Pottery Barn Customer service was awful / sales lady was so rude

I was waiting behind one customer, who was being helped at the register. Another cashier walked up and asked me if I had any questions, I said "I'm ready to check out". She proceeded to ignore me and talk to the other customer regarding an item she could not find. Then without acknowledging me, proceeded to grab my items, and dropped an item in the process, did not double check if it had broken {it was glass-luckily it was not broken when I opened it at home} and she was so rude. I like Pottery Barn, but the staff service in Costa Mesa, California Location- is lacking in great customer service. I will not go back, it was such an awful experience, I did not feel valued as a customer.

Failure Pottery Barn to correct a defective product

After waiting 5 months and receiving five separate promises from PB to provide a replacement dining room chair which was received damaged, they still have not come thru for us. We get repeatedly, contradictory messages from them, except for always passing the buck to blame the manufacturer. Apparently, there is no one at PB with whom a customer can converse who can effectively address the issue. I am totally fed up with this company and caution any prospective customer of PB to beware of their extremely poor customer service. They are so efficient at order taking but receive an 'F' when helping to solve a problem.

The pottery barn store in Macarthur mall.in Norfolk VA is the most racist store i have ever been to. As long as the store has been in the mall they do not ackowledge black customers. I have never walked into the store and been greeted or asked if i needed help. But when a white customer walks in after me they are immediately ackowledged and offered assistance. Unless you are a middle aged white person in general do not expect to be helped by any salesperson.
