Pottery Barn review in Georgia: Last Time I "attempt" to buy something from PB
Let's just say that one attempt to modify the material for a furniture order resulted in the order being cancelled while I was told for months that the order had shipped and everything was fine. Finally the associate told me, "I guess everyone else you spoke to just didn't read the notes." Seriously?!!!! Just a horrible experience from end to end. Ultimately I will just go to a furniture store, which is what i should have done to begin with, and get something probably nicer for half the cost. Never...again....

Pottery Barn - Pbteen Sherpa Pop Throw Review from Sandy Springs, Georgia
We were sent the throw. I paid for the initials to be mongrammed as a Christmas present for my 11 year old daughter. They put the monogram on upside down. They will not give me a refund. They cannot replace it because they are out of stock. Why won't they refund the money? They made a mistake. I am not going to take the gift away from my 11 year old daughter and return it to pottery barn to get our money back....when they can't use the item anyway. They need to make this right. I paid for the item and they sent an item that was not done correctly. I have been emailing with their customer service and to no avail. They continue to disregard me as a customer. I have spent thousands of dollars with pottery barn buying furniture and bedding throughout the years. This customer service is terrible. I will never buy a thing from them again.

Pottery Barn review in Alpharetta, Georgia: They mean it when they say no returns!!
I went to the Pottery Barn outlet and bought the softest crib sheet and pillowcase (Chamois) for my grandbaby and what I thought was the same softest twin fitted sheet for my 4 year old granddaughter. Yes, the clerk told me about a hundred times (no kidding) that at the outlet there were no returns. Well, I just started to pack the sheets and realized I got a full size instead of a twin. Called to ask if I could just exchange the full for a twin - no I don't want a refund or even the difference between the twin and full - just to swap them out and was told no and then a whole 20 minute berating on their return policy! My advice - either don't buy anything from a Pottery Barn outlet store or make absolutely sure you examine every inch of whatever you're buying!

I love Pottery Barn!
First of all....love their stuff and the folks(Deborah, Designer, Jessica and Charles, managers) at my local store (Roswell Road, East Cobb, Marietta, GA) They ALWAYS go out of their way to make sure I'm happy. Although they're busy, they unfailingly are courteous, knowledgeable helpful and accommodating. This is a reminder to always check with your local store before buying anything online. Online the Sicily console was on clearance for $399.00, $40 shipping, $40 surcharge and $33.60 tax for a total of $513.59. Went to "my" store and the same table was $319.97 - $48.00 (catalog promotion trans 15% off), $16.32 local merchandise tax, shipped to store (no shipping fee and no surcharge). Total cost from my store for the same item: $288.29....a savings of $225.30 on a table that was originally sold for $799.99!! But wait there's more! I went home, found a $25 off coupon, called store and they said, "no problem". They returned the purchase I had previously made and then ran it through again with the additional $25 discount!! True, I have to go back to the store to pick it up when it arrives but I think I can manage!! ALWAYS check with your local store before ordering online and make friends with the sales staff

have never been so disappointed in the lack of customer service. Pottery Barn in general has degraded themselves as a store the only thing they forgot to do is lower the prices. Well truthful I have got better customer service from Walmart!!! Problem is I went to order a Christmas Gift and apparently there was a mistake on THEIR end with pricing. I went to order a backpack and it was only .30 so I ordered 10. My card was charged and I received conformation of shipping on Christmas Eve. Then I went to check for a tracking number and everything had changed. I called customer service and was told out of stock sorry. Very Rude so I requested supervisor. Oh no one here until 10:30 I will have them call. Imagine this NO CALL. So I called back still no where with this new customer service person. AGAIN NO SUPERVISOR will take a message. LOL So after going over every thing again with her and being put on hold over and over again. Guess what I learned. Oh we have them we just changed the number. I can sell you one now and have it shipped for FULL PRICE and shipping and handling. NO THANK YOU. When I confronted her with that being a terrible thing for a company like pottery barn to do she immediately back stepped and ended up offering me a store credit once I purchased the bags and paid full price and S/H. AGAIN NO THANK YOU. As of right now NO REFUND has been made and no email to tell me it is out of stock. This is such poor customer service I plan to blow up the internet anywhere I can to let people know how terrible of a company Pottery Barn has become.
