We bought a bathroom sconce at PB (Mercer Double Sconce, chrome finish). After a couple of years it showed huge areas of rust and black as the chrome peeled off.
I waited a while before contacting Pottery Barns customer service but was still within what I would think is a reasonable time to expect a fitting costing over $100 to last. Customer Service noted that their return period is 30 days!! What??? Does this mean they expect the product to last no more than 30 days.
I could have bought similar sconce from lamps plus for a lot less, but I thought I was buying a quality product It's really ugly (see photo below). I see they are still selling this range of sconces online - so I caution anyone not to waste their money buying this.
