Pottery Barn - Pick stich comforter and shams falling apart
I purchased a pickstitch comforter and pillow shams from pottery barn about 2 years ago for a guest bedroom that is rarely used. They cost alot of money.
They are rarely used. I washed them, as the label says, on delicate, cold water, in my very good Maytag machine designed to handle large items, such as comforters. Ditto with the low tumble dry on the very good dryer. Last year, the shams edging separated in several places, and I had to purchase new shams.
Now, I recently washed the queen comforter PER label directions and now the quilt is separating at the border. I called Pottery Barn and they basically said tough luck. I won't shop there anymore.
They DO NOT stand behinfd their products. A barely used quilt of that price, supposedly handmade, should not be falling about after delicate wash and dry 2 times!!
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $300.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Pottery Barn Cons: Poor excuses from customer service, Service for price of product.
Location: Midlothian, Virginia
