Pottery Barn - Returns nightmare
We just purchased 4 dining room chairs online from Pottery Barn. They were not as advertised either in color or texture.
Trying to return the 4 chairs meant 2 hours on the phone being transferred multiple times and spending most of that time on hold. They will not send UPS to pick them up for return, but they require 2 people to carry and won't fit in a passenger car. They also require 24-48 business hours to send a return label. They will refund only purchase price, not shipping cost.
If you don't like the product, it's the customer's fault. They take no responsibility.
On other returns, they have taken up to 2 months to make the refund, and only after calling them twice to do it. Do not buy from Pottery Barn unless you realize that you will likely be unable to return the item.
