Pottery Barn review: Manhattan Chair

1.2
Details
Pottery Barn review - Manhattan Chair
This chair was great when we first bought it, after a year the springs popped, they took it back for a repair, popped again months later. Finally Pottery Barn replaced this chair with a new, smaller version. After a few months the color started to fade, they took it back and stained it again, the stain didn't take, looked bad from the minute they brought it back. They refused to help any further. The chair is still very comfortable but looks terrible! Don't buy one, they will not stand behind this product!

Pottery Barn review - Indio Outdoor Furniture (Gray) - HORRIBLE QUALITY
Long-time customer with an extensive order history for the customer service reps to see, but they really do not care. Pottery Barn's Indio outdoor furniture is GARBAGE. Purchased two chairs in 2017, both had a ton of the gray paint chip off to a white color by 2018....

Pottery Barn review - Abbott Concrete Patio Furniture - Poorly Sealed
We bought an Abbott rectangular outdoor dining set, abbott coffee table, and two abbott end tables in 2017. A beautiful set of furniture. It took three deliveries (two of the dining room table had cracks) to get a table that was clear of cracks and chips. However, all (dining table, coffee table, and end tables) developed cracks within the first 18 months of use. Furniture is covered in the winter, and, if sealed appropriately, this shouldn't happen. Unfortunately, I believe this furniture line is defective, but Pottery Barn refuses to do anything about fixing the problem. We've spent significant money at this store over the years to furnish our house, but due to a lack of customer service response on this topic, I can no longer recommend Pottery Barn. Totally toxic experience.

Pottery Barn review in San Antonio Northwest, Texas: Defective Sophia Dishes

Pottery Barn review - Defective Sophia Dishes
I purchased the Sophia Dishes and within a year they started getting spots all over them. They said the company would give me a 10% credit as they have a 30 day return policy. I purchased a 12 piece set of these dishes and they are all covered with spots. I think anyone would assume their dishes would hold up for more than a few months...30 day return policy does not work when an item is defective. They should be ashamed at not giving me a refund.

Update by user Jul 23

Pottery Barn contacted me and asked how I’d like to rectify the situation. Pottery Barn picked up the infested table, set up and replaced it with a brand new one. Excellent customer service!

Pottery Barn review: Outdoor Indio furniture surface falls apart

Pottery Barn review - Outdoor Indio furniture surface falls apart
We purchased an Indio couch, arm chair, side table, dining table, and six chairs from Pottery Barn. After less than one year, with the couch under one of their covers and the table under a covered patio, the finish looks horrible! Not only is the surface finish of the furniture falling apart, but the color underneath is bright white so that the furniture looks like it is a decade old. The product description claims that this is mahogany. Very hard to believe that is true. I have contacted Pottery Barn twice with no response. This is the most regrettable purchase we have ever made. If this is representative of Pottery Barn quality then we are done with them!

Whatever you do, don’t buy the Indio collection. Had mine for 6 months, it has warped and started flaking off almost all of the painted surfaces. The company won’t do anything about it including this store where I purchased it from (Mashpee Common, MA.). Both the...

I am furious that there is nothing that can be done. My table is actually warping, and it's been outside max 3 months between late last summer, and this year, since naturally it ran late.

Horrible furniture, small wonder there is nowhere to review on their site. Customer Service is a joke.

How can you possibly have OUTDOOR furniture that can't withstand a few months outdoors??? We should start a class action suit against them!

Pottery Barn review - Defective product
I purchased a set of sheets. The next day I went to put the fitted sheet on the bed and discovered that it was torn at the corner. Talked a sales person at the store. She said they don't take bedding back. I asked to talk tot he manager. She said the same thing. I told her that they sold me a defective product. She said that she had to open the store and would call me back. It has been 30 minutes! Caution. Don't purchase bedding from them. They don't stand behind the mercahndise.
