Pottery Barn review: Carlisle grand sofa

1.8
Details
I have had my Carlisle collection for about 6 months. Pure disappointment! The back cushions on the sofa are awful. They are too short and way too fat. It is awkward and uncomfortable to sit on this sofa. Cushions shown in picture are much taller (almost square) and not near as thick. I’m constantly trying to flatten the back cushions. I will never buy furniture from PB again.

I ordered the Lorraine buffett in mid August online and after we ordered it came up with a delivery of October. We weren't happy but figured we'd wait. Then we got an update that it could be the end of November so I called to cancel the order. They said it was custom...

Pottery Barn review: Vintage Recessed Medicine Cabinet has Fatal Design Flaw

1.3
Details
Pottery Barn Vintage recessed medicine cabinet installation instructions say to frame the specified recess, then mount the cabinet flush to the wall. If you mount it flush to the wall, the door will not open more than 45 degrees because the door hits the wall! You must shim the cabinet 5/16" away from the wall to enable the door to swing open without hitting the wall. This leaves an ugly gap between the cabinet and the wall. It is an obvious design flaw; the flange on all sides of the cabinet should be 5/16" wider so when the flange sits against the wall, the door will not hit the wall when it is opened. Cheap, poorly engineered Chinese junk, at inflated Pottery Barn prices!

Pottery Barn review: Abbott Concrete Patio Furniture - Poorly Sealed

Pottery Barn review - Abbott Concrete Patio Furniture - Poorly Sealed
We bought an Abbott rectangular outdoor dining set, abbott coffee table, and two abbott end tables in 2017. A beautiful set of furniture. It took three deliveries (two of the dining room table had cracks) to get a table that was clear of cracks and chips. However, all (dining table, coffee table, and end tables) developed cracks within the first 18 months of use. Furniture is covered in the winter, and, if sealed appropriately, this shouldn't happen. Unfortunately, I believe this furniture line is defective, but Pottery Barn refuses to do anything about fixing the problem. We've spent significant money at this store over the years to furnish our house, but due to a lack of customer service response on this topic, I can no longer recommend Pottery Barn. Totally toxic experience.

If I could give Pottery Barn a negative star rating I would. First, I ordered a 3 items to pick up in store. When I went to pick them up there were only 2 in the bag. After insisting that the order was for 3 units I was told that apparently they only had two so that’s...

Pottery Barn review in San Antonio Northwest, Texas: Defective Sophia Dishes

Pottery Barn review - Defective Sophia Dishes
I purchased the Sophia Dishes and within a year they started getting spots all over them. They said the company would give me a 10% credit as they have a 30 day return policy. I purchased a 12 piece set of these dishes and they are all covered with spots. I think anyone would assume their dishes would hold up for more than a few months...30 day return policy does not work when an item is defective. They should be ashamed at not giving me a refund.

Ordered some bar stools back in February. They were back ordered until June and then July and then August! I called to cancel and was told that it was. Two days later I get an email that they are in store and ready for pickup, what the *** I called the store and was told that I was competing with 99 other stores and that if I had paid for shipping to my home I would have received them in June!!! What the *** kind of business is this. I am done, I will never buy anything from this place again.

I wish I'd read this before I ordered a couple of armchairs. I shop at Wayfair mostly because they have outstanding customer service, but they don't have many leather chairs.

Can I complain to American Express? Thankfully I didn't sign up for their credit card.
